Robert Sexton, FNP-C, brings over 14 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families throughout Middle Tennessee. His background in family medicine, critical care, skilled nursing, and addiction medicine allows him to care for patients with both routine and complex medical needs. Robert is passionate about preventive medicine and helping patients identify health concerns early to achieve healthier, longer lives.

Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Robert spent his nursing career providing critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Saint Thomas West Hospital.

Raised on a farm in rural Kentucky, Robert learned the values of hard work, compassion, and service from an early age. Inspired by his father, a Methodist minister, and his mother, a special education teacher, he developed a passion for helping others through healthcare.
Today, Robert is proud to serve families throughout Murfreesboro and the surrounding communities. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, DIY projects, spending time outdoors, traveling, and making memories with his two children.
